Singer/songwriter John Denver came to fame as composer of the No. 1 hit for Peter, Paul & Mary “Leaving On A Jet Plane” before becoming a hugely successful hitmaker in the 1970s and ’80s with his unique and distinctive blend of country, folk and pop, delivered with that unmistakable voice.

He had around 40 UK and US hits, with classic compositions like Take Me Home, Country Roads, Annie’s Song and Rocky Mountain High before his tragic demise in a flying accident at the age of just 53.

This 19-track collection brings together those and many more of his memorable recordings, including the US No. 1s Sunshine On My Shoulders and I’m Sorry and the No. 2 Calypso, along with favourites like Mr. Bojangles and his own original version of Leaving On A Jet Plane.
