Description
Led by David Byrne and formed in New York in 1975, Taking Heads are credited in an on-line biog as having ” helped to pioneer new wave music by integrating elements of punk, art rock, funk, and world music with avant-garde sensibilities and an anxious, clean-cut image”. They were hugely innovative, and the very nature of their hits featured in this collection underline that cutting-edge approach, including their best-known recordings like “Once In A Lifetime”, “Psycho Killer”, “And She Was” and “Road To Nowhere”.
